The youth bed is a voluntary youth-centred service to provide shelter on an emergency basis to at risk female youth. The program serves youth that are homeless or at risk of being homeless, street associated, sexually assaulted and/or exploited, have mental health concern, addictions, are escaping gang affiliation, or the individuals exploiting and/or harming them.

The purpose of the youth bed is to:

  • Provide safety and shelter
  • Assist youth to identify risks, needs, and goals
  • Connect youth to agencies and organizations that can assist them with: obtaining identification, mental and physical health, housing, addictions, employment and education
