Parkers steps up efforts to fight violence and abuse
Jim Tabler and the team at Parker’s Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep- Ram are taking action to help stop the violence in the South Okanagan.
Parker’s recently became a partner and presenting sponsor for the SOWINS Walk to End Abuse for a three year period.
Why has Parkers decided to be involved with SOWINS?
“While the Parker family and the business have been involved with SOWINS for many years, more recently we have decided to raise our level of commitment. The programs provided within the community are of such great importance that the decision was made to offer greater assistance both financially and by assisting in building greater awareness to the organization through our network of business contacts as well as our large customer base.
We feel that as a prominent business within the community for our 70 years, it is our responsibility and a privilege to offer our help in any way we can. Anyone who has had the opportunity to meet the individuals that work for SOWINS or has spoken with the clients they has assisted will understand the importance of this organization in our community.
After seeing the difference SOWINS has made and how their programs continue to impact the community, the answer to the reason why we are committed to them becomes incredibly clear. Thank-you to everyone at SOWINS for all the hard work.
