Donations for our Pop-Up are now closed
You have filled our office and our hearts! Because of your generous support, we are officially at capacity for our Pop-Up Thrift Shop and cannot accept any more donations. We are so grateful for the outpour of support that we received and are excited to host the community at our Pop-Up Thrift Shop on April 26th at the Standard! See you all there!
If you’re still looking to support us through donations, our client pantry wishlist is below with items that we are always in need of.

Getting back on their feet with dignity
Our services are provided to individuals who have experienced, or who are at risk of experiencing violence or abuse in the South Okanagan (from Summerland to Osoyoos and from Naramata to Keremeos). We rely on gifts from individuals like you to help meet the needs for those we serve. This list is ever-changing to reflect the current needs of individuals in our communities.
We are currently accepting the following items:
- Tarps
- Juice boxes, boost, flats of water
- Individually wrapped snacks such as crackers, cookies, pudding, granola bars, wagon wheels, fruit cups.
- Canned goods such as baked beans, chicken, ham, fruit, vegetables, spaghetti, ravioli, etc. (flip tabs appreciated)
- Rice, boxed mashed potatoes, Hamburger Helper, boxed mac n cheese.
- Quaker Oats and breakfast items
- Full-size shampoo and conditioner (2 in 1’s are helpful)
- Incontinence pads
- Long Pads (liners)
- All sizes of tampons
- Antibiotic creams
- Towels (new or near new)
- Sunscreen
- We do not currently need pasta, canned tomatoes, canned soup, or pasta sauce.

All items that SOWINS accepts must be new, near new, or in unused condition.
Items can be dropped off Monday–Thursday from 9am-4pm call 250-493-4366.
